Friday, December 3rd

 Message from Principal Duncan~

Happy Friday Kaseberg Families,

We hope you all enjoyed the week off for Fall Break with friends and family and found time to unwind and relax. I loved hearing from many of our students about the fun times had over break and all of the delicious food that they ate, YUM! We are continuing into Trimester 2 and will have a lot of learning and events on the short horizon until we reach Winter Break in late December!

These short two weeks until Winter break are going to fly by. Our students will be taking the i-Ready district assessment starting next week to see how much growth they have had in reading so far this year. Our teachers have spent time setting goals with their students and explaining the importance of trying their best. We are excited to celebrate the growth of our Kaseberg Hawks!

This month will be filled with find Holiday Cheer, dress-up days, recess time games, Kindness Challenges, celebrating the Holidays around the world, and most importantly helping those in our community who are less fortunate!

Don't forget that Friday, December 17th is an early release day at 1:40 pm!   Have a wonderful weekend ahead and we look forward to seeing you all next week!

Kaseberg Five Days of Holiday Fun!

Positive Behavior Intervention and Support Highlights~

Kaseberg Elementary is a PBIS Silver Coalition School and we strive to teach our students each month a specific character trait that we look for in each of them.  This month our focus Trait is RESPONSIBILITY.  In addition, each day students are given Caught'Cha being good tickets when we see them "Being Respectful, Making Good Decisions and Solving Problems" appropriately.  Our PBIS program is all about reinforcing positive behaviors when we see them.  Our students are rocking it this year and we are overflowing with positive Caught'Chas!

On December 16th, we will have our monthly drawing for 15 students to get an extra recess with Mrs.Duncan and otter pops will be given out to any class that received the "Classy" lunch stars.  Go Hawks and keep up the great work!

School Site Council Meeting~

Our next School Site Council Meeting will be next Tuesday, December 7th from 3:10 pm -4:10 pm via zoom.  Below is our agenda and we will be approving our School Site Plan and Expenditures for the school year.  Anyone from the public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
