Winter Family Dance~

This Friday is our Winter Family Dance and we can't wait to see all of our Kaseberg Families present and dressed to impress!  We need your HELP!  

• We are accepting dessert and drink donations this week in our front office. 
• Volunteers are needed for before, after, and during the dance.   Sign-Up Genius
• Pre-sales for tickets are highly encouraged to skip the line at the door.

Attendance Matters~

As we explore and celebrate all that these first months of 2024 bring, I want to highlight the continued significance of maintaining excellent attendance, especially considering the various holidays and breaks on the horizon.

In alignment with our district-wide "Every Day Matters" Attendance Campaign, and the resources available on our "Every Day Matters" website, we aim to provide you with valuable tips and support. Regular school attendance is not merely a routine requirement; it serves as a cornerstone for your child's academic progress. Missing even just a day or two can significantly impact learning.

Please continue to focus on getting your child to school every day and on time! This is a significant goal for Kaseberg this school year! Current grade level attendance rates for the month of January are below...our goal as a site is 95% or higher for each class! Let's Do This!

 Message from Principal Duncan~

Welcome back Kaseberg families to a New Year in 2024!  I hope you all had a wonderful break and feel relaxed and ready to hit the ground running.  I loved spending time with my family over the break, playing board games, watching movies, and finding some work/life balance.  I am so excited to be back with our Hawks and to see their smiling faces on Monday, January 8th!   We have so much to celebrate from 2023, more goals to reach, and more fun to be had during this second half of the school year!  

Over break I learned some pretty exciting news...our school was the ONLY school in Placer County to receive BLUE status on the California Dashboard in ELA and Math.  This is very difficult since the only way to receive BLUE is by performing high on the CAASPP state testing and showing significant growth on CAASPP.  Congrats to our entire school for this AMAZING accomplishment!

Kaseberg Winter Wonderland Family Dance~

• Pre-sale tickets will be sold from January 15th-January 24th via our Square app (Kasebergptc.square.site).  
• Entry tickets for pre-sale purchases will be in Friday folders on January 26th. 
• Tickets can also be bought at the door on the night of the dance.
• Bella Familia Pizza Food truck will be available for purchasing dinner items.

Idling Cars for Drop-Off and Pick-Up~

The safety of our students is our biggest priority here at Kaseberg.  We kindly ask that if possible turn your car off while waiting for your child.  This will ensure the air around our campus remains safe for students.  It is state law that buses do not idle near schools, so this is just a friendly reminder for cars.  Thank you for helping us keep our students safe while on campus!
