Enhancing Communication with the Google Translate Extension~
At Kaseberg Elementary, we utilize Google Workspace for Education, an all-inclusive platform that provides a range of tools and applications designed to enhance the educational experience. To facilitate effective communication in multiple languages, we would like to offer the Google Translate extension.
If you have questions about what information is disclosed by using the Google Translate extension, please take a moment to review the extension Privacy Practices. If you prefer not to have the District activate the Google Translate extension for your student’s account, please follow the steps below on or before September 22, 2023.
Access the PowerSchool Parent Portal in your web browser.
If you need assistance with your login credentials, please contact your student's school office, and they will gladly assist you with logging in.
After logging in, follow these steps:
Navigate to the left-side menu.
Locate the "Google Translate Preference" menu option.
Choose "Opt-Out" of the Google Translate extension added to your student's account.
Submit the page.
Repeat these steps for all your students within the Roseville City School District.
