Attendance Matters!

As a school and district, we are committed to improving student attendance and reducing the number of students who are considered Chronically Absent each year. Regular attendance is essential for student learning, engagement, and success.

Each month, our classrooms work toward attendance goals, and we celebrate their efforts with incentives when goals are met. These incentives help encourage strong attendance habits and build a positive school culture.

Our overall goal is to have less than 5% of students identified as Chronically Absent each year. A student is considered chronically absent if they miss 10% or more of the school year, for any reason.

School‑Wide Attendance Goals:

• 📘 Each classroom maintains a 96% attendance rate each month

• 🎯 The school maintains a chronic absenteeism rate below 5%
