Every Minute Matters-Arriving on Time~

Kaseberg Families, we appreciate your partnership in helping our students start each school day feeling prepared, settled, and ready to learn!

Over the past two weeks, we have seen an increase in students arriving after the school day has begun, with approximately 40–50 students arriving between 7:50–8:15 a.m. each morning. When many students arrive late at the same time, it creates congestion in our front office and can further delay students from getting to their classrooms and beginning their day.

Here are a few important reminders to help our Hawks have a successful start each morning:

• 🕗 School begins promptly at 7:45 a.m. Students should be through the front gate and ready to begin their school day by 7:45 a.m. Students arriving after this time are considered tardy.
• 🎒 Morning routines matter! The beginning of the day often includes putting away belongings, lunch count, morning meetings or circles, and the start of academic instruction.
• 📚 Being on time protects learning time. Even arriving 5–10 minutes late can mean missing an important part of instruction or the routines that help students transition successfully into learning.
• ❤️ A calm start can make a big difference. Arriving on time gives students an opportunity to settle in alongside their classmates and begin their day feeling confident and prepared.

We understand that mornings can be busy and that occasional delays happen! Our goal is to partner with families to ensure every student has the strongest possible start to their day.

📚 Our first Book Fair of the school year is coming this October!

We are excited to bring the Book Fair back to Kaseberg, and we need the help of our amazing families to make it a wonderful experience for our students!

Our Book Fair will run Monday, October 5th through Saturday, October 10th, and we are looking for volunteers to help throughout the week. Whether you can give an hour or a few hours, we would greatly appreciate your support!
